Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Built and Shaped apps and this website, builtandshaped.com. Both apps are published by Core Capital Investments LLC (“we”, “us”).

No accounts

There are no user accounts. You never create a login, and the apps never ask for your email address, phone number, or any other identifier.

Your data stays on your device

Your profile, logs (including the cycle log in Shaped), and photos are stored locally on your device. We keep no user database and no server-side copy of them. Deleting the app or clearing its data permanently removes this information; we cannot recover it because we never had it.

Apple Health

On iPhone you can connect Built or Shaped to Apple Health. If you do, the app reads your height, weight, body-fat percentage, age and biological sex to set your calories and macros, and writes your weight check-ins and logged meals back so your other health apps stay in step. You choose which of these Health grants when iOS asks, and you can withdraw any of them at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

Health data is read on your device and stored on your device, exactly like the rest of your profile. It is never sent to our servers, never used for advertising or marketing, never sold or shared with anyone, and never used for any purpose other than the coaching you asked for. Health data is not shared with the AI provider unless it appears in something you type into the coach yourself.

No analytics, no ads, no data sales

The apps contain no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not sell, share, or broker your data.

What is sent to the AI provider

The AI features work by sending what you give them to our AI provider (Anthropic, or OpenAI as a fallback) to generate a result. This happens only when you use the feature:

• AI coach: your message, plus the profile and log context you have entered — which includes the name you typed into your profile, if you entered one. In Shaped this context also includes your current cycle phase and recent logs.
• Meal scan: the meal photo you take or choose.
• Physique scan: the progress photos you select.
• Bloodwork scan: the lab-report image or PDF you upload.

This data is processed in transit to produce the response. We do not store it, we keep no record linking it to you, and under our providers’ commercial API terms it is not used to train their models. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

This website

builtandshaped.com has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. If you email us or send us feedback through a form on this site, we receive what you choose to send. The free tools on this site run in your browser; nothing you type into them is sent anywhere.

Email sign-ups on this website

This website collects an email address only if you sign up for the free 7-day meal plan. That is separate from the apps: signing up on the website does not create an account, and nothing about your email reaches the apps.

• What we collect: the email address you type, and nothing else. We don’t ask for your name, and we don’t record which page you signed up from in any way tied to you.
• What we send: one email with your 7-day meal plan, then occasional emails when we publish a new guide or tool. We don’t sell, rent or share your address, and we never send it to the brands mentioned in our guides.
• Who holds it: our email provider, Resend, stores your address as a contact and delivers our emails. We keep no copy of our own. Resend’s handling of data is described in its privacy policy; like any email service, it keeps delivery records (for example, whether a message was delivered).
• Unsubscribing: every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes your address from our list; there is no confirmation step and no account to sign in to.
• Deletion and questions: to have your address deleted, or to ask what we hold, email corecapitalinvestmentsinc@gmail.com from that address. We delete it from Resend and confirm.
